ARTICLE 1 – PREAMBLE

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Papa Story mobile application and/or visiting the website www.papastoryapp.com (“Platform”).

By visiting the website or downloading, accessing, or using the Papa Story mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use without limitation or reservation. If you do not accept these Terms, please stop using the Platform immediately.

ARTICLE 2 – DEFINITIONS

In these Terms of Use, “Platform” refers to both the Papa Story mobile application and the website located at www.papastoryapp.com. The Platform is owned and operated by Hanutech Labs International F.Z.E., a company registered in Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates (“Company”). The term “Mobile Application” refers specifically to the Papa Story app as distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The term “Website” refers to www.papastoryapp.com, where information about the Platform and services is provided. “Materials” include all content made available through the Platform, such as stories, audio narration, illustrations, character designs, branding, user interface elements, written text, digital files, and any other creative or technical assets. A “User” is an adult who creates an account and/or subscribes to access the services on the Platform, while a “Visitor” refers to any individual who accesses the Platform without creating an account or subscription.

ARTICLE 3 – SUBJECT

The purpose of these Terms is to govern the usage, access rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Visitors and Users on the Papa Story Platform.

ARTICLE 4 – RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

By accessing or using the Papa Story Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use. If you choose to continue using the Platform, you are responsible for complying with all terms, guidelines, and any notices displayed within the Platform.

You agree to use the Platform in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. This includes refraining from actions that could harm the Platform, its services, its users, or the Company. You agree not to post, upload, share, or transmit any content that is threatening, abusive, offensive, misleading, defamatory, harmful to children, or that violates the privacy or intellectual property rights of others. You also agree not to introduce any harmful software, code, viruses, or scripts that could disrupt or damage the Platform or its infrastructure.

The communication tools within the Platform are intended to support a positive and safe user environment. They may not be used to harass, spam, deceive, or interfere with the experience of others. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the Platform, interfere with its servers, reverse-engineer its technology, attempt unauthorized access, or automate access through robots, scripts, scraping tools, or similar methods.

Information you provide to the Platform, including during subscription and communication, must be accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge. The Company is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the user.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or permanently restrict access to the Platform if it reasonably believes a user has violated these Terms, attempted to misuse the Platform, or acted in a way that may cause harm to the service or other users. If misuse causes damage or loss, the Company may pursue compensation where applicable.

ARTICLE 5 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Papa Story is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hanutech Labs International F.Z.E. is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages that may result from the use of (or inability to use) the Papa Story app, website, or any materials provided within it. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of business, loss of profit, interruption of service, or any other commercial damages or losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If you are dissatisfied with the app or any of its features, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the platform.

Some jurisdictions provide additional consumer protections that may override parts of this limitation. If such laws apply to you, parts of this section may not apply.

Users are responsible for ensuring the security of their device, installing appropriate malware and antivirus protections, maintaining internet connectivity, and making backups of any data related to their use of the service. We cannot guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content provided through the platform, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Because the Papa Story app relies on internet connectivity, wireless communication, servers, and third-party infrastructure providers, we cannot guarantee continuous uptime. Delays, interruptions, or failures caused by connectivity, network conditions, maintenance, or technical limitations are not our responsibility, and we do not accept liability for any resulting impact.

Where legally required to accept liability, that liability will be limited to the minimum amount required under applicable law, and will not include any amounts considered indirect, speculative, or punitive in nature.

The Papa Story app and website may contain links to third-party content. We are not responsible for the accuracy, privacy practices, or security of those external services, nor do we endorse or monitor them.

If any part of this limitation of liability is found to be unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining terms will continue to apply to the fullest possible legal extent.

ARTICLE 6 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All intellectual property rights in the Papa Story app, website, visual designs, character artwork, illustrations, story titles, narration audio, scripts, branding, user interface components, app logic, software code, and any related content (“Materials”) are owned by Hanutech Labs International F.Z.E. or licensed to us by approved rights holders.

Your access to Papa Story gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and its content for your own private, non-commercial use. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any part of the Materials.

You may not, under any circumstances:

Copy, download, reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or create derivative works from any part of Papa Story or the Materials.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract source code, or otherwise access the technical workings of the app.
Use the Papa Story name, logo, characters, artwork, or storytelling content for commercial purposes, promotion, resale, or publication.
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices or branding within the app.

Any use of Papa Story content beyond personal use is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension, legal action, and claims for damages.

If you believe material available in Papa Story infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our copyright contact containing:

Your full legal name and signature (electronic or physical)
Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
The exact location of the material within Papa Story
Your contact details (email, phone, country of residence)
A statement confirming that you, in good faith, believe the use is unauthorized
A statement confirming the accuracy of your claim and that you are the copyright owner or legally entitled to act on their behalf

ARTICLE 7 — Personal Data

When you use the platform, some personal data is collected and processed. This is done according to our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, which explain what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected. By using the platform, you agree to the processing of your personal data in line with those policies.

ARTICLE 8 — Disclaimer

The platform and the content on it are offered as they are, without guarantees. While we do our best to keep everything running smoothly, we can’t promise that the platform will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Your use of the platform is your own responsibility. If you are not satisfied with the platform, your option is to stop using it.

ARTICLE 9 — Miscellaneous

1. Changes to the Terms
We may update or change these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated version on the platform. Once the updated Terms are posted, they will take effect. By continuing to use the platform after changes are published, you are agreeing to the updated Terms.

2. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

3. Termination

We may suspend or terminate a user’s access to the Platform if we believe the Terms have been violated or to protect the security and integrity of the Platform.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Uninstalling the app or stopping use does not waive any responsibility for fees or commitments already made.

4. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

5. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the full and complete agreement between you and us regarding use of the Platform and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
